The Gulf Guesthouse

When our talented Florida neighbors requested design assistance converting their one-bedroom rental from long-term to short-term, we were so about it! This was due in part to his advanced DIY skills and her artistic talents—all which could be showcased in the space. Given the limited number of bedrooms, we focused on increasing occupancy by recommending a daybed/pullout for the living room, allowing for four visitors instead of two. As the space needed to be fully furnished immediately, we sourced 75% of the items locally from secondhand shops. Five renters + five five-star reviews later, this month-long transformation was an instant success!
