Sustainable Sunroom

Because who doesn’t love a good sunroom—but especially when it comes together under budget? This light and airy space was being called a “third bedroom” when listed for sale (spoiler-alert: it wasn’t!). After ripping out the “closet” (actually a walkway to the dining room) and painting, we “free-styled” by pulling items from other rooms to create this new space. The plantation shutters were the only add—sourced secondhand through the à la carte service Furniture Finder—and retrofitted into place. Now with light control, this sunny SW room is a favorite place to unwind, anytime of the day.
